The internet is great, you can email anynoe, trouble is everyone else can too. That cuts your chances of interviews down substantially. Especially if the employer can’t meet you in person and make a judgment as to weather you are a good fit. The internet has ruined everything to do with job hunting with these businesses online tests you have to take, including mandatory race information, which is illegal, not to mention who knows who you are really sending it to or if it even gets to them.

      Something new I’ve discovered which rllaey impresses employers is to have your own website. I’m not talking about a Facebook page, that’s not going to impress anyone, I mean a real dotcom website. I got mine made for free at ultimateyournamedotcom I’ve already had a few job offers since my site went live, I’m just trying to decide if I should go with one of them or wait to see if better offers come in soon.
